2008 Fram Autolite Nationals

On Sunday, July 27, 2008, we went to the Finals of the NHRA Fram Autolite Nationals at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. Corey has contacts. His cousin Steve got us in free.

We started out by Donovan, Jackson and Papa Bob having their pictures taken sitting in Cory Mac's top fuel dragster.

It was a beautiful day. You can see Mt. Diablo in the distance. We live at the foot of the mountain.
Light 'em up!
It's always fun walking around through the pits, seeing the cars, watching engines being re-built and meeting the drivers.
Hillary Will was pretty happy back in her pit after winning her semi-final.
Now she has to re-pack her chutes.
Robert Hight, in the John Force Mustang, beat out Gary Densham to take the Wally in Funny Cars. Tony Schumacher, in the Army car, edged out Hillary Will by .01 seconds to take the Top Fuel Dragsters title.

Thanksgiving 2007

On Octobeer 20, 2007, we went with Jessie, Corey and the kids to the Pumpkin Patch in Clayton. Uncle Brian and his friend Danny went with us. Everyone had a ball, especially Jack and Van.

The boys loved playing in the tub full of lima beans.

We all made our way through the maze made out of hay bales.

Kettle Korn!

We took home some pumpkins. Another beautiful day.

The Blue Angels

In October, Barbara and I took Jessie, Corey, Jackson, Donovan and Isabella to the Marina Green in San Francisco to see the Navy's Blue Angels precision flying team perform. As part of Fleet Week, the Blue Angels fly in in their F-18 Hornets, and they really put on a show. It was a beautiful day, and the crowd was huge. We really enjoyed it all.

The boys got to play on some bouncy toys.
Bella was two months old.
